THE IVY KENSINGTON BRASSERIE COLLABORATES WITH LEADING FASHION BRAND, RIXO, THIS SUMMER

In celebration of summer and to coincide with this year’s BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, The Ivy Kensington Brasserie is delighted to announce its collaboration with iconic fashion brand, RIXO. From Tuesday, 9 July until Tuesday, 17 September the brasserie will play host to a vibrant external installation and two limited-edition cocktails, which can be enjoyed individually or alongside the restaurant’s pre-Proms set menu.

RIXO, known for their iconic yet playful prints have inspired a striking installation which will intertwine and adorn both the façade of the brasserie as well as the terrace at the back of the restaurant for guests to enjoy this summer. The bright pink Psychedelic Butterfly is a seventies-inspired abstract interpretation of an insect’s wings, magnified and coloured in a hot pink hue, whilst the Glitter Feather print is a softer and more subtle design which combines mint and cream, embellished with glitter for added texture and flair. Both designs will come together to add a touch of opulence to the restaurant, making for the perfect summer oasis, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Kensington High Street.

In further celebration, the bar team have created two bespoke, refreshing cocktails. Inspired by RIXO’s designs, cocktails will include the ‘Mint Cream’ (priced at £9.50 Grey Goose, Crème de Menthe Vert, Crème de Cacao Blanc, double cream and topped with chocolate sprinkles and a feather stencil), and the ‘Psychedelic Butterfly’ (priced at £9.50 and incorporating Plymouth Sloe Gin, Crème de Rose, pineapple juice, lime juice and topped with a gold butterfly). Both delicious creations will be available for those ordering from the pre-Proms set menu, which showcases RIXO’s bold designs, as well as those looking for a pre- or post-Proms tipple.
