SweatSearch Set to Revolutionise the Fitness Industry with Cutting-Edge Technology

In September 2024, SweatSearch, a next-generation fitness technology platform, is set to redefine how trainers and clients connect, revolutionising the way users approach their fitness journeys. The innovative platform aims to create personalised experiences, uniting individuals with a shared passion for self-improvement and making it easier to achieve fitness goals together.

With the UK fitness industry booming, valued at £2 billion in 2024, SweatSearch breaks new ground as the first-to-market platform offering a comprehensive matchmaking service for clients and personal trainers (PTs). The app, available on both the Apple Store and Android, stands out for its ability to match clients with PTs based on their fitness goals, interests, abilities, and location, creating a truly tailored experience.

SweatSearch

The platform comes at a time when finding the right personal trainer can feel overwhelming, given the 23,000 personal training businesses and 57,000 fitness instructors operating in the UK. SweatSearch simplifies this process, catering to all types of fitness journeys, whether users are training for a marathon or maintaining a healthy lifestyle. With a wide range of trainers, from outdoor fitness enthusiasts to yoga instructors, the platform ensures that every client can find their ideal match.

Making Fitness Accessible and Affordable

One of SweatSearch’s core goals is to make personal training more accessible and affordable. The platform addresses common barriers to exercise, such as the 21% of people who find gyms intimidating and the 10% who cite mental health challenges. By offering a comfortable, flexible solution, SweatSearch empowers clients to take control of their fitness journey in a way that works best for them.

Clients can save or “like” their preferred trainers, ensuring they receive future requests, further enhancing the app’s user-friendly experience.

Empowering Personal Trainers with New Opportunities

For personal trainers, SweatSearch offers a powerful tool to grow their businesses. PTs can create comprehensive profiles featuring client reviews and testimonials, enabling them to showcase their expertise and attract the right clients. Additionally, trainers can offer reduced rates during off-peak hours, filling empty slots in their schedules and making their services more accessible to a broader audience.

The app’s SweatBoard, a leadership ranking system, allows trainers to climb the ranks and earn passive income through cash incentives. This feature provides PTs with opportunities to grow their income while focusing on what they do best—helping clients reach their fitness goals.

An Innovative Business Model: SweatEquity

SweatSearch also introduces SweatEquity, a first-to-market concept that rewards personal trainers with shares of the company. PTs who book 50 sessions via the app within a month earn 1,000 shares worth £250, and the first to hit their target will receive an additional 10,000 bonus shares, valued at £2,500. This innovative model gives trainers a unique stake in the company’s success, offering them both short-term financial gains and long-term investment opportunities.

A Community-Driven Platform with Global Ambitions

Co-founders Marcel Huisman and Alex Huisman envision SweatSearch as more than just a booking platform. Marcel, Managing Director of SweatSearch, emphasised that the platform was created to foster a community where personal training is accessible to all, whether users are looking for long-term trainers or mental health benefits through fitness.

Alex Huisman, CEO of SweatSearch, highlighted that the platform bridges the gap between trainers and clients, making fitness more approachable and personalised. With plans to expand across Europe within the next three years, SweatSearch aims to partner with small and independent gyms, further solidifying its position as a leader in the fitness industry.

Key Information for Launch

  • Personal Trainers: Fees are waived for the first two months. Afterward, PTs pay £9.99 per month plus 5% commission per session.

  • Clients: The app is free for users, with a 2% commission fee per session and Stripe transaction fees (3%).

  • Referral Program: Clients can benefit from a refer-a-friend program that offers platform credits, making the app even more affordable.

As SweatSearch prepares for its official launch, it is poised to disrupt the fitness industry with its community-driven, innovative approach to personal training. With its personalised matchmaking system, innovative business model, and ambitious growth plans, SweatSearch is set to become the go-to platform for fitness enthusiasts and personal trainers alike.
