Celebrate the magic that is Covent Garden at Christmastime, when London’s theatres, shops and restaurants are bubbling with festive excitement. At the heart of all that is J Sheekey, tucked away on St Martin’s Court since 1896 serving the classic British seafood - the perfect hideaway to celebrate Chritmaas style. 

This Christmas, guests can celebrate the Pearls of J Sheekey - with the historic seafood restaurant brought to life with opulent Christmas decor inspired by the oyster pearl: the heart of the ocean. 

Dine on pearls of the ocean, with six varieties of seasonal Oysters to choose from: English, Jersey, Loch Ryan and more. Or opt for caviar pearls, whether Oscietra, Platinum or Royal Baerii with blinis and creme fraiche. With a festive set menu at just two courses for £45, and three for £55, choose from starters of Stilton Welsh Rarebit Gougères with caramelised cauliflower soup, or a classic J Sheekey prawn cocktail before mains like Fillet of cod with Catalan shellfish rice & saffron aioli, or Roast Devonshire chicken & chestnut pie with buttered sprout tops and madeira jus. Finish with a Panettone ice cream cup with brandy chocolate sauce or a Cropwell bishop stilton with pear chutney & crackers. Why not enjoy a J Sheekey’s caviar sweet, filled with petit fours and a golden box keepsake to take home. 

Combining tradition, elegance and charm, J Sheekey will serve a selection of Guinness cocktails for the festive season - including a classic Black Velvet, a Stout & Espresso, and a Bold & Blue featuring blue cheese washed whisky, Guinness reduction, Angostura and a blue cheese stuffed olive. 

Every Sunday throughout the festive season - and on New Year’s Eve until 12:30am - a jazz band band will play live in restaurant - the perfect pit-stop for a platter of Fruits de mer brimming with Atlantic prawns, clams, mussels, oysters and more. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a larger celebration, J. Sheekey offers the perfect atmosphere for making seasonal memories with family and friends.

For larger celebrations, there are unique group dining experiences across various rooms in the restaurant, including the Atlantic Bar - seating up to 20 guests for a festive gathering.
