Celebrate the Season at Peckham Arches

South East London Hotspot Reveals Cosy New look with 180-capacity heated, covered terrace, new Indian food concept and an epic lineup of events 

On Thursday 31st October, Peckham Arches reopened its doors with a complete new look for the winter season. Transforming into a smaller, more intimate and cosy space adorned with botanical plants, Peckham Arches will house a 180-capacity covered and heated terrace, perfect for festive get togethers, big group bookings and Christmas parties this winter. Expect a brand new Indian food concept, epic drinks menu and an incredible lineup of festive events including Supper Club Speed Dating.

Having built a reputation as the go-to place for get togethers this summer, Peckham Arches will be welcoming a brand new food concept to take over the open kitchen. Alongside a wide range of sourdough pizzas and homemade light bites, Indian street food concept Clangour will take centre stage bringing a distinctive, smoke-infused dining experience inspired by the tandoor houses of Delhi. Marrying traditional techniques with fresh, unexpected elements, Chef Sam Finnie draws on flavours from time spent in India, creating a menu centred on 24-hour marinated meats, smoked and cooked over charcoal in the signature tandoor ovens. Accompanied by aromatic curry bases, menu highlights include the likes of Butter Chicken (£14) Marinated Grass fed Chicken leg, breast and heart, preserved apricot; Mutton (£13) Grilled Koji cured leg and lime pickle; as well as a Smoked Dahl (£12) as a vegetarian alternative. Each main will be served with two tandoor flatbreads, leavened for 48 hours and baked on the clay ovens.

Guests can also expect an epic drinks menu of freshly made cocktails - including the ever-popular Passionfruit Mezcalita, Grapefruit Margarita and Picante - as well as steaming hot mulled wine and fresh tank beer from Bird House Brewery located around the corner in Herne Hill. For the early-birds, 2-4-1 cocktails are available every Thursday and Friday before 7pm.

DJ’s will be returning to the site every Friday and Saturday as well as a number of exciting events to keep an eye out for including a speed dating supper club on Wednesday 11th December, and a New Year’s Eve party to see out the year in style. More details to follow in due course.
